Hello to new books written by friends with big hearts for women and mothers! I’ve dove straight in and cannot stop…my review will be out this week! Hello to connecting with the hearts of other women and friends. I cannot wait to see what this book does for so many women.
Hello to getting back into the blogging groove and writing. I loved getting some much needed time away from home to go to Starbucks to work and write. It is always pure bliss. I’m loving all of the great things I have coming for Funky Faith Girl this year! It’s going to be great!!
Hello to the first time our family went bowling together! It was sooooo fun, and the kids had a blast! They got their own lane, they picked up on it really quick and it was fun to see them cheer each other on.
Hello to amazing triumphs!! It may not seem like a big deal to some people, but my Noah got his hair cut at a kids cut place and didn’t even flinch!!!!!! (not enough exclamation points in the world!) This is no easy feat. We’ve been holding him down and cutting it at home since he was born. He doesn’t like his ears to be touched especially, but the buzzing of the trimmer drives him crazy. He was specifically asking to go to a place to get it cut and we finally decided to just try it out, crossing our fingers for no freak out by him. It was spectacular! He just sat there and played a video game and even let her cut the top with scissors. WHAT?? So crazy, but I’m so proud of him. In our little world at home, it’s all about one little step at a time.
Hello to a new year, new resolutions for me and my health, new plans, and a new me. I’m working on so many things within myself that I’m just excited for the year. Even if I do hate the number 13.
This WILL be a good year. HAPPY MONDAY!

I love new books! Sounds good to dive in to some fresh reading. Glad the haircut went well! I was worried about how my little one would do as he struggles with that kind of thing too, but it went smoothly…thankfully.

Kristen, yes I’m finally getting back into reading now that my kids are a little older. I have 5 book reviews this month that I hope everyone will love.
My 4 yr old son also has sensory issues and I think we are taking him in to try a haircut soon too. It’s so hard to do at home.

Thanks for visiting! Just wanted to add another reply because my 3 yr old son has sensory issues as well. Always good to know someone else is experiencing some different challenges too. That’s one of the reasons I was concerned about the haircut, however the novelty of the rocket ship seat, train table, and movie took care of everything.
Hey–how did you find Blissdom? I’m extremely new to writing/blogging but am hoping in the future to perhaps attend something that is helpful.
